ونقلت الهيئة في بيان عبر منصة “إكس” عن مديرها زيلمار كريسبو قوله: “إن انفجارا في محول بمحطة الطاقة الحرارية وقع يوم 15 مارس، مما تسبب في انقطاع الكهرباء على مستوى البلاد”.
من جهته، أكد رئيس بنما خوسيه مولينو، حدوث الانقطاع الشامل للكهرباء في البلاد، حيث كتب عبر منصة “إكس”: “أبلغتني هيئة ASEP بانقطاع الكهرباء على المستوى الوطني”.
وفي منشور لاحق عبر “إكس”، أوضحت الهيئة أن نظام إمدادات الكهرباء بدأ يتعافى تدريجيا.
